John Boos & Co., a high-end woodcrafting company, was in need of a new website. Along with an updated look and feel they also needed better SEO integration with keyword optimization in order to improve their visibility on Google. My team of interns designed wireframes for a totally re-imagined site with the intention of it to be passed on to developers to code. We created an attractive homepage, utilizing current website design trends and ensuring that the main aspects of the brand and product were front and center while also integrating certain keywords.

In addition, we developed several email campaigns for subscribers to help highlight products and remind customers that John Boos boards make perfect gifts. We were given a food budget and were able to plan, shop, and art direct our own shoot to capture the perfect photos. We carefully crafted subject lines designed to grab peoples’ attention and create leads. Through A/B testing we identified two techniques that improved open and click thru rates for this email list: using customer names and enticing CTAs.
