Frosted, the hit holiday pop-up bar of 2019, was established by St. Louis’ leading mixologist, Matt Loungeville (aka @STLBarkeep), to bring together friends (and fire dancers) over craft cocktails The event was held within the beautiful, historic Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park.

I was tasked with designing a brand identity, logo and printed materials (including an editable menu template) for this innovative new hot spot. Working with a quick deadline and plenty of creative freedom, I produced a wide array of logo options to kick off the project and quickly worked with the client to hone in on an idea and brand “hook” that brought the event to life.

The Frosted logo combines the iconic facade of the Piper Palm House with a simple, sweet snowflake design and custom hand lettering for a truly ownable piece of art. Continuing into the menu design, the clean simplistic look of the logo translated well for printing budget and easy navigation for the template. 

Frosted was a huge success - with a packed attendance each night of just 3 days - and I am eager to help the event grow and flourish in 2020.
